Tchoukball is an indoor team sport developed in the 1970s by Swiss biologist Dr. Hermann Brandt, world health organization believed that "The objective of human physical activities is not to make champions, but make a contribution to building a harmonious society." His aim was to acquire a team sport which did non require the horrific injuries which he hold plaguing more such sports.
A sport is played in an indoor court with measurements of 40 metres by twenty metres. At both prevent there is a 'frame' (the device similar to the trampoline off which the ball bounces) which measures a single square metre & a semi-circular 'D' with measurements of 3 metres retired from either a frame tons directions. Teams comprise 12 players, of whom nine can be on the court at any once. Tchoukball has came to exist as an international sport, played around Taiwan, Great Britain, Switzerland, Japan, Canada and Italy. These are governed per Federation Internationale de Tchoukball (FITB). Taiwan hosted a 2004 Globe Championships & won two a men's & women's cases.
